Penn State University
Meterorology

Bryttani Wooten is a 2017 graduate of Clover Hill High School. She is the daughter of Bryant and Theresa Wooten. Bryttani is excited to study meteorology at Penn State University. She plans to tackle the tough problem of climate change that is facing our society. At Clover Hill, Bryttani was a member of Beta Club, National Honor Society, National History Honors Society and was an AP Scholar. Active in cheerleading, she participated in the Clover Hill High School squad and competitive team; and also served as a coach for the Providence Athletic Association, choreographing dance routines and motivating young cheerleaders. Other leadership roles included Clover Hill Math and Science Advisory Council and service as a mentor. Bryttani was also active with the First Baptist Church of South Richmond, volunteering at youth events, vacation bible school, and food service. She is also a member of the youth choir. Bryttani has had a long interest in all things weather! A program at WTVR-TV CBS 6 solidified her desire to pursue risk management meteorology, which will allow her to combine her love for weather with atmospheric sciences and business and help further understanding of the impact of climate change at the business and community level.
